Q: I want to change some settings of conversion. Where can I found them?
A: All the settings of the software can be found on the right panel of the main interface. After you select a device, the settings that can be changed will be active, such as the Frame Rate Sample Rate and Video/Audio Bit rate and so on. Some of them are in dropdown lists and some of them can be changed just by entering a concrete number.
In the Wizard, you can reach them in the fourth step, Select Profile, by clicking Advanced Settings". |

What about if I convert a file into same format several times saving in the same output folder without setting different output names respectively? Will your program just overwrite the previous conversion? It will be nice if it can save the output files in different titles automatically.
A: VASA Video Converter can do this job as default. For example, if your file is called "movie.3gp" and you want to Where can I found the output files after the conversion?
A: After our software shows "complete" for the conversion job, please click "Open" button which can be found at the bottom of the main interface. You will reach the destination folder directly, from where you will find the output files for your conversion job. Generally, the default destination folder for our program is "C:\Temp". convert it to AVI format, after the first conversion job, the output file will be named as "movie_new.avi". If you do the same conversion job again, our program will generate a file, called "movie-new0.avi". And also, if you perform a third conversion, the third output file will be "movie-new1.avi". It means it will produce files in different titles each time in this way.

After the conversion is done, I found that the output file is in such a small resolution. All what I used are default settings. I should be able to adjust resolution. But I can not find such a resolution item on the right panel. Why? And what should I modify?

A: Do you have iTunes installed? It is a must. Please download it from www.apple.com. The transferring job must be done by this tool. For more details about this job, maybe the support information offered by Apple site would also help. Or you can browse the CD following iPod, from where you can read a manual. |

I have properly connected my PSP with my PC and my PC has recognized my PSP as removable drive. But when I select it in the PSP Video Manager, the Manager will still show "Your selected drive is not a PSP". Why?
A: Please check the folder path on your PSP. If you have connected it successfully and your PC has recognized it as a removable drive, please open it through your PC. You should be able to find a folder called PSP on it. And in the PSP folder, you should have two sub-folders, MUSIC and PHOTO. Please have a check. If you do not have such a path, please create it yourself. Maybe you have deleted them before. |
I have successfully transferred the output PSP files to my PSP with PSP Video Manager. But it says "Corrupt Data" when I try to watch them on my PSP. Why?
A: Did you modify certain settings in the conversion job, such as "Frame Rate", video "Bit Rate" and audio "Sample Rate", etc? If it is so, you must not enter a value of your own in this situation. You should only use those which we have offered in the drop-down list. The values we offered are what PSP can support. If you enter other numbers, PSP will not recognize the output files. |
When I watch the output files on my iPod, every certain minutes, the video would freeze for a couple of seconds, and then the audio will disappear when the playback resume. I have to rewind the iPod to get the audio again. Why? It does not happen on iTunes and QuickTime.
A: Please check which firmware of iPod you are using. If it is in V1.1, you would have such problem. Please upgrade its firmware to V1.1.1 released on Mar 23 2006 by Apple from http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/. After that, the playback will be smooth on your iPod. |
Should the PSP audio files, MP3, be also transferred by certain Manager programs?
A: No. Please just copy MP3 files into the "MUSIC" folder, one of the sub-folders under "PSP" folder. For example, if the removable drive number for your PSP is "F", please copy them into "F:\PSP\MUSIC". If you can not find it, please create such a path yourself. |
The output 3GP files are playable well by QuickTime on my PC. But when I load the files into my phone and play them, the video and audio get out of sync. Why?
A: Maybe your phone requires different settings with what we offered, which can work for most of phones. Can you get to know what proper settings for frame rate, as well as some others your phone can support? If you have no clear idea with it, please e-mail to our support team at support@secoolsoft.com and they will help you out. |
